Pelatihan Pembuatan Sumur Resapan Mini sebagai Solusi Pengendalian Genangan Air di SMK PGRI Sukodadi
Abstract
Waterlogging is a crucial environmental issue in various regions of Indonesia, particularly during the high-intensity rainy season. The reduction in infiltration areas due to development in built-up areas exacerbates this situation. One simple and sustainable solution to address this problem is the implementation of infiltration well technology. This community service activity aims to improve environmental literacy and practical skills among students of SMK PGRI Sukodadi through training in constructing mini infiltration wells as a solution for controlling waterlogging. The activity methods included field observation, outreach, technical training, field practice, and evaluation of results. The results showed an 85% increase in student knowledge about the function and benefits of infiltration wells, as well as improved skills in constructing simple infiltration wells. Furthermore, the implementation of mini infiltration wells in school areas has proven effective in reducing waterlogging after rainfall. This activity makes a significant contribution to the development of school environmental literacy and serves as a contextual learning model that can be replicated in the wider community.
