PENGARUH FREE CASH FLOW DAN HARGA SAHAM TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN RETAIL SUBSEKTOR SUPERMARKET DAN MINIMARKET DI BEI
Abstract
Introduction/Primary Objective: This research aims to examine the influence of free cash flow and share prices on company value in retail companies with supermarket and minimarket subsectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Background of the Problem: The shift in consumer concentration from conventional to online businesses is causing the conventional retail business to become increasingly sluggish. Novelty: This research examines free cash flow and share prices that occur in retail companies in the supermarket and minimarket subsectors on the IDX in 2018–2022, which have not been discussed in previous research. Research Methods: This research using quantitative research methods. Findings/Results: Free cash flow and share prices have a significant effect on company value. Conclusion: Share prices in the supermarket and minimarket subsectors are at a stable level for each company. The existence of continuously stable prices shows that for every company and every year, the share price is stable. For the analysis results, it can be concluded that the research results from the contribution of the influence of free cash flow and share prices on company value simultaneously have an effect of 85%. To test the hypothesis, the free cash flow variable has a significant effect on company value, and the share price variable also has a significant effect on share prices.
