TREND PERAWATAN PALIATIF PADA LANSIA DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

Masa pandemic Covid-19 tidak menjadi suatu hambatan dalam melakukan pelayanan kesehatan, termasuk pada perawatan di komunitas khususnya perawatan palliative pada lansia. .Layanan perawatan paliatif memerlukan kesiapsiagaan dan kapasitas pelayanan perawatan paliatif untuk menanggapi COVID-19. Pendekatan sistematis dalam review menggunakan model PRISMA dan sumber jurnal dari beberapa database seperti Scopus, Spinger Link, Pubmed, Proquest, SAGE, dalam 5 tahun terakhir dari tahun 2016 hingga 2020. Operator Boolean dalam proses pencarian menggunakan AND dan OR. Kriteria inklusi untuk artikel ini adalah  inovasi, intervensi, kebijakan, trend isu perawatan paliatif terhadap lansia pada masa pandemic covid-19. Kriteria ekslusi jika artikel dalam bentuk konferensi paper, tinjauan sistematis dan tinjauan pustaka. Secara keseluruhan, review  berdasarkan kriteria tersebut diperoleh 12 artikel terpilih dari 298 artikel yang ditemukan. Dalam review kali ini, beberapa arikel menyebutkan bahwa Pandemi COVID-19 telah memperburuk tantangan yang dihadapi banyak pasien lansia dengan penyakit kronis untuk mengakses perawatan kesehatan yang tepat. Kelompok lansia merupakan populasi rentan terhadap infeksi COVID-19. Ada dua jenis layanan telehealth yang dapat memberikan pelayanan perawatan paliatif secara efektif selama masa pandemic COVID-19. Pertama, video telemedicine, Kedua, layanan kesehatan berbasis telepon. Video telemedicine meningkatkan 90% kepuasan pasien lansia dengan diagnosis kanker karena kemudahan akses dalam menerima perawatan kesehatan selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Dari beberapa penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat dianalisa bahwa perlu dibuat pedoman untuk menciptakan kerangka kerja praktis untuk triase, pengendalian infeksi dan keamanan sehingga perawatan paliatif berbasis komunitas bisa terus dilakukan selama pandemic covid-19.
