Systematic Literature Review: Leadership and Loyalty in Student Organizations
Abstrak
Leadership in student organizations is crucial for determining the direction, morale, and loyalty of members. This study periodically examines research findings addressing the relationship between leadership and student loyalty within organizations. A Systematic Literature Review (SRB) was used to examine twenty-five articles published from 2018 to 2025 from national journals, proceedings, and university repositories. Key findings indicate that transformational and participatory leadership styles have a significant effect on member loyalty. Moral values, a welcoming organizational culture, and good internal communication enhance employee engagement. Furthermore, thematic analysis revealed varying results related to organizational context and member characteristics. This suggests that certain leadership styles do not work well in all situations. This study indicates that student organization administrators utilize communicative leadership, reward participation, and create a shared culture. Therefore, this study provides a comprehensive overview of effective ways to increase student loyalty to campus organizations.
