HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENGETAHUAN, SIKAP DAN PERILAKU IBU BADUTA DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN STUNTING DI KECAMATAN MADURAN KABUPATEN LAMONGAN

Abstract

Stunting is one of the nutrition problems that occurs during pregnancy until 2 years old baby. Characteristic of stunting determined by the child’s body posture that shorter than his age, a kid that stunting always short but not all of the kid that have a short body is stunting. Stunting have a huge impact in the future, a stunting kid will get problem with them growth, intelligence and also have a high risk of degenerative disease. Preventive action that can be taken to solve stunting is optimalization 1000 HPK (golden age periode). Parents should have a good khowledge about nutrition so can have a good quality of pregnancy and the baby can growth normally. Stunting caused by a lot of factor, on of them is individual factor like knowledge, attitude and behavior of mother during 1000HPK periode. This research aims to know about the correlation of knowledge, attitude and behavior of mother that have a 2 years old baby in prevention of stunting in Kecamatan Maduran Kabupaten Lamongan. Results of this study shown that almost all the respondents have a good knowledge, attitude and behavior to prevent stunting, analisis bivariate shown that there is no significant correlation between variable knowledge and attitude, it looks from p (sig) 0,100 > α (0,05). Correlations test between variable knowledge and behavior shown that p (sig) 0,131> α (0,05), it means there is no significant correlation between that variable.
